Longwood Carriage Driving Club held a GDDQ over the weekend of February 17th & 18th. The club was so inundated with entries that we needed to an extra ring to allow us to get through over 30 competitors wanting to qualify for the upcoming Championships or who just enjoy dressage in a timely manner.
The Longwood grounds did not disappoint providing the most glorious surface which allowed drivers to show off their horses to the best advantage. Our wonderful judges and stewards kept the day moving and on time and our drivers were on their way home on Sunday before the real heat set in. Longwood members did an amazing job, all putting in to make the weekend run smoothly, and our amazing ladies from the Longwood Community Centre kept everyone fed and watered in their usual magnificent style.
We are looking forward to welcoming lots of dressage enthusiasts for Victoria and other states to the Skye Park Victorian Driven Dressage Championships in April, which already has exceptional entries coming in. Results
